two words hide inside one. an occasion is an event, a gathering, a reason to dress the room. occasional furniture is the furniture that moves — the side table, the stool, the chair pulled up for one more guest. the studio lives in the parentheses between them.

we design interiors for homes and hospitality, produce dinners and launches for a hundred or fewer, and — occasionally — sell the pieces that make both work. mid-century in its bones, a little art deco in its jewellery, and one red thing per room.
